Chettinad Cotton Sarees
Handwoven pure cotton sarees from Chettinad, in the far south of Tamil Nadu. Sourced directly from weavers around Karaikudi and shipped across India.
Chettinad cotton is heavier and tighter than most cotton, so it holds a crisp pleat and softens with every wash rather than wearing thin. The body and border are woven in different colours on the same loom, never stitched together afterwards.
